Reflecting on his experience working in some of Melbourne’s best salons, Chris has developed a simple philosophy; “Natural, wearable, low-fuss hair.” Chris’ approach to hairdressing reaches far beyond just hair, taking inspiration from fashion, music, street style and his time as a session stylist and makeup artist.
“ I use free-hand cutting techniques to enhance shape and movement, while carefully considering personality and lifestyle.”
Chris’ free-hand cutting technique offers a personalised service to his clients, working completely in harmony with each individual’s natural features and face shape to provide a textured result that doesn’t require hours of styling at home.

CW Hair offers a relaxing and minimalist aesthetic which is further emphasised by the light-filled space overlooking a beautiful view of Collingwood. When Chris decided to find his own salon space, it was important to create a private, one-on-one, premium service for his clients and it’s clear that the atmosphere and his love for cutting is what keeps his clients returning
Chris is also passionate about the products that he chooses to use in his Salon opting for only vegan and cruelty-free products.
