Salon Feature: Krop Hair

Krop Hair is an eco-friendly salon located in a beautifully curated Queenslander oasis on Brisbane’s North Side. At Krop Hair, the passionate team believe in beautiful hair without unnecessary chemicals and are dedicated to mindful, sustainable hair care.

We spoke with Salon Director Nathalie about Krop’s journey with EverEscents.

Nat was first introduced to EverEscents 19 years ago when she began her journey as a school-based apprentice at Krop.

“I’ve always loved the range and the brand’s ‘outside the box’ thinking when it comes to its formulas.”

After moving from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast, Nat had the opportunity to work directly for EverEscents.

“During that time, I learned and grew so much within the brand. I will forever be grateful for my 8 years there.”

Now that Nat is back in Brisbane, she has returned to her old stomping ground with a deep appreciation, renewed knowledge, and even more love for EverEscents. This experience allows her to speak with genuine passion about the products and to educate clients on the importance of high-quality ingredients.

Nat’s love for helping people feel beautiful in their own appearance is what drives her passion in the salon.

“My number one rule when I’m on the floor is: you’re here to help people feel confident and beautiful – if you can’t do that anymore for whatever reason, it’s time to exit stage left.”

Nat is also passionate about building relationships and connecting with people. During a break from the floor, she realised just how much she missed that connection.

“It’s truly what fuels me.”

Krop Hair Owner and Founder Andrea has created a truly stunning space – from the gorgeous greenery to the delicious drinks on offer, every detail has been thoughtfully curated. Beyond how visually beautiful it is, the salon is also home to an incredible team culture. The stylists at Krop share a deep passion for hair, which makes the environment not only inspiring but also supportive. And the basin room? It’s an absolute haven of peace and relaxation. A unique, tranquil space loved by clients.

Krop Hair holds sustainability as one of the business’s core values. Andrea has always been deeply passionate about finding innovative ways to reuse, retain, and recycle within the salon.

One of the key initiatives Krop Hair is proud to support is their partnership with Waste Free Systems, a pioneering Queensland owned organisation that specialises in repurposing salon waste. Through this partnership, Krop Hair and Waste Free Systems ensure that materials like hair, foils, plastics, and chemicals are diverted from landfill and given a second life through innovative recycling initiatives.

By integrating systems like these, Krop Hair really walks the walk when it comes to making a positive environmental impact.

What truly sets Krop Hair apart is the personalised service and expertise of the team. The executive stylists are masters of their craft – each bringing a unique flair, deep knowledge, and a commitment to exceptional results.

“From the moment our clients walk through the doors, they’re seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. We take pride in offering a personalised experience that goes beyond hair – and it shows in our strong client loyalty. Many of our clients have been returning to Krop for over 10 years.”

In terms of services, Krop Hair offer a wide range – from precision foiling to specialist curly cuts, ensuring they cater to every hair type and style preference with confidence and care.

“Andrea has proudly stocked EverEscents in the salon for roughly 19 years – and for good reason. It’s truly one of the best when it comes to high-quality organic ingredients and consistently delivers exceptional results.”

The team at Krop Hair believe what makes EverEscents even more special is that it’s Australian made and owned, vegan friendly, and cruelty free – all values that align perfectly with the salon’s commitment to ethical and sustainable beauty.

You can find Nat and the team at Krop Hair in the suburb of Norman Park, Brisbane from Monday-Friday and every second Saturday.
