Nicole from Living Safe talks about EverEscents Organic Moroccan Argan Oil

Check out the awesome review below from Nicole at Living Safe

Moroccan Argan Oil is currently the treatment ‘de jour’ for hair and for good reason too. If you want to treat your hair and help it to improve in strength and elasticity, while creating smooth, silky soft and frizz free hair, then this natural Moroccan beauty oil is the perfect remedy. The difference between EverEscents Organic Moroccan Argan Oil and many others is that it is free of silicone, which actually coats and smothers the hair and it is also free of any artificial colours fragrances and other ingredients. Instead you are getting a 100% natural hair and also skin treatment that contains not only the benefits of pure Argan Oil, but also Jojoba,  Rosehip and Sweet Almond Oil with essential oils of Ylang Ylang and Rose Geranium and Lavender.

As a professional hair and makeup artist, I have tried countless hair treatments and many unfortunately are full to the brim of synthetic chemicals and have left me rather disappointed. I tried EverEscents Argan Oil on my own very curly, long, dry hair and just a very, very, small amount of this precious oil massaged into damp hair, made my curls shiny and soft and they didn’t look oily and greasy either. Be careful though as this product is full of oils, too much and you will weigh down the hair and it will look oily.

If you straighten, tong, blow-dry or hot roller your hair, once you have finished creating your style, try rubbing a couple to a few drops, (depending on the length and thickness of your hair) between your hands and spread over your just styled hair to calm and control any fly-a way’s and frizziness.

Tip for curly haired curls. For a more defined look to my curls I mix it with a little of EverEscents Organic Pink Grapefruit & Ylang Ylang Leave-in Moisture, or with Organic Geranium & Mandarin Sculpting Lotion.

Another great way to use EverEscents Organic Argan Oil is to use it as a deep conditioning hair treatment, before shampooing and conditioning. For this treatment you would use massage a larger amount of Argan Oil through the hair and scalp and leave it to work for at least 10 mins before washing out.

Organic Guilt-Free Peppermint Slice

Peppermint Slice

Peppermint Slice

1 1/2 cups organic desiccated coconut (finely shredded dried coconut)
8 dates, organic medjool seeds removed
1 tablespoon of cacao
1 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/2  cups organic cashews
1/2 cup organic desiccated coconut (finely shredded dried coconut)
Pinch of salt
2 well heaped tablespoons of organic honey
1/2 teaspoon organic peppermint oil

2 tablespoons of organic honey
3 tablespoons cacao or cocoa or carob
4 tablespoons organic coconut oil

Line a loaf tin with baking paper hanging over the sides for easy removal.

Blend the base ingredients until the dates and coconut resemble crumbs and the mixture is clumping together, press the mixture firmly into a loaf tin. If you cover this with baking paper and use a book to press it down you will get a nice smooth, level base. Place in the fridge of freezer to set.

Filling –

Thoroughly blend the cashews, salt and coconut until you have a nice smooth consistency, you may need to scrape the mixture back onto the blades and pulse this a few times. Add in the honey and peppermint and blend quickly, just enough to combine. Press this mixture over your base, again you could use the book technique to ensure a nice smooth finish.

Blend the topping ingredients at a high speed until it resembles melted chocolate. Pour this mixture over your slice and spread it out evenly.

Pop it in the fridge to set.
